Urgent Assistance Needed
CFA can provide urgent assistance in some situations.
If you are in a situation where you believe your utilities (such as gas, electricity) or phone (if this is your primary phone) may be disconnected, we can provide immediate assistance by advocating on your behalf. In most cases we can have your provided implement a moratorium on disconnection until we have had an opportunity to better understand your situation, after which we may be able to advocate on your behalf to reach a solution which suits both you and your provider.
If you have been served with an eviction notice or your home or car (primary vehicle) are to be repossessed, we may be able to provide urgent assistance and work with your landlord, real estate agent or finance provider to implement a stay on proceedings until we have had an opportunity to better understand your situation.
If you are in need of help which is urgent, but not immediate, please contact us directly at 02 8091 2829 or welfare@financial-asistance.com.au.
Your email will by-pass our normal assessment and will be escalated to urgent.
In the event we cannot provide immediate assistance, we will most certainly do our best to help you to find a person or service who can assist (we won't drop you like a hot potato!)
