Life can be difficult, our website isn't!
Life is a juggling act.. A balancing act... Unfortunately, we can only balance or juggle for so long.
Just as common as it is for us to try and balance, it's also common to feel embarrassed or stressed when you are struggling; financially and with life in general.
We see this on a daily basis and that is why we are here; to help*. If you need help, please, reach out to us. Unfortunately we cannot help each consumer who contacts us, but where we cannot, we will do our best to find someone or a service who can. You will find some helpful contacts in our contacts page.
It is important to note, CFA is not a financial counseling service nor can we provide financial advice.
We advocate. We contribute to charitable causes. We provide counselling. We educate. What does this all mean?
Advocating on your behalf. We will be your voice where you would like us to be. We will speak to the companies you may owe money to. You might be embarrassed, upset, anxious or just not up to speaking with them. We will. That's why were here.
Contributing to charitable causes. We are very passionate about contributing to charitable causes. We regularly donate auction and raffle items, such as sporting goods, memoribillia and prizes to charitable events and causes. We also regularly arrange for sports people and celebrities to help with these events and causes, depending on their availability. We are also happy to consider requests for assistance on an ad-hoc basis. Just ask (hopefully we can assist).
Counselling services. We recognise that life can be difficult, in some cases so difficult that it becomes unmanageable. When this happens, it is never easy to reach out for help. Help can also be expensive. We believe that help should be available irrespective of if you are able to afford it or not - money should not be an object!
We'd like to offer you access to counselling which is free, safe, friendly and above all else, non judgmental. We're not here to judge you, we're here to help you through the difficult times.
Because we do not receive government funding, our resources are limited which means that unfortunately we cannot meet every request for assistance which we receive, be it a request for us to advocate on your behalf or a request for assistance with a charitable cause or event - but we will try our best, resources permitting!
Where we either cannot assist you, or feel that the assistance your require is outside of our capacity or skillset, we will always endeavour to direct you to or team you up with a more appropriate form of assistance.
